(National Consultant)

The Government of Kingdom of Cambodia has received a Loan of SDR 15,012,000 from Asian Development Bank toward the cost of Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) Health Security Project. The impact will be strengthened Greater Mekong Sub-region public health security. The outcome will be improved GMS health system performance with regard to health security. The project locations are selected provinces along the borders and economic corridors. The project consists of the following outputs: (i). Regional cooperation and communicable disease control in border areas improved; (ii). National disease surveillance and outbreak response systems strengthened; and (iii). Laboratory services and hospital infection prevention and control improved.
 
Key Responsibilities:
1.    Prepare annual operational for the project including assisting all implementation agencies to develop their respective annual operational annual operation plan;
2.    Facilitate in developing project monitoring guidelines for Health Security Project by involving all related stakeholders;
3.    Work with Project Management Unit and Provincial Team to develop project monitoring system including data collection tools, analytical framework, operationalized database and generating the information;
4.    Train provincial staff and other relevant staff on using of the monitoring system;
5.    Facilitate to prepare baseline, endline and other assessments for the project;
6.    Consolidate and summarize key progress data for mid-term and end of project evaluation studies;
7.    Support PMU with data analysis and reporting;
8.    Assist Knowledge Management (KM) Focal Point at CDC Department to continue rolling out KM activities;
9.    Identify appropriate technical specifications for IT equipment and software to ensure quality of products;
10.  Build capacity of relevant institutions  in using IT equipment and software through provision of on-the-job and formal training;
11.  Provide ICT technical support and network troubleshooting to PMU;
12.  Preparing project reports (Quarterly, Annually and Other reports if required); and
13.  Other tasks assigned by Project Director. Download
