ក្រសួងសុខាភិបាលនៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា សូមជម្រាបជូនដល់សាធារណៈជនទាំងអស់ឲ្យបាន ជ្រាបថាជំងឺហ្ស៊ីកា (Zika) ជាជំងឺឆ្លងបង្កដោយ វីរុសហ្ស៊ីការកឃើញដំបូងនៅលើសត្វស្វាក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៤៧ និងលើមនុស្សក្នុងឆ្នាំ១៩៥២ នៅប្រទេស Uganda នៃទ្វីបអាហ្វ្រិក។ បន្ទាប់មកជំងឺនេះមានការផ្ទុះឡើងជារប៉េះរប៉ោះ នៅក្នុងទ្វីប អាហ្រ្វិក អាមេរិក និងអាស៊ីប៉ាស៊ីហ្វិក។បច្ចុប្បន្ននេះ វីរុស Zikaកំពុងរាតត្បាតនៅប្រទេសក្នុងតំបន់អាមេរិកខាងត្បូងនិងកណ្តាល ហើយការរាតត្បាតនេះរីករាលដាលនៅប្រទេសប្រេស៊ីលនៅឆ្នាំ២០១៤។

One 7 months old suspected measles case of Kampong Speu Province was reported from a hospital in Phnom Penh on 15 January 2016. The suspected case was confirmed as measles by National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) and subsequently it was confirmed by the WHO Regional Reference Laboratory in Hong Kong on 25 January 2016.
