The Ministry of Health (MoH) of the Kingdom of Cambodia wishes to advise members of the public that one (l) new human case of avian influenza has been confirmed for the H5N1 virus. This is the 91 case this year and the 56th person to become infected with the H5N1 virus in Cambodia. The case is from Kampot province. Of the 56 confirmed cases, 44 were children under 14, and 30 of the 56 were female. In addition, since the first case happened ill Cambodia in 2005 there were 19 cases survived.

This is the 7th and 8th cases this year and the 54th and 55th persons to become infected with the H5N1 virus in Cambodia. The cases are from Kandal and Kampong Chnnang provinces. Of the 55 confirmed cases, 43 were children under 14, and 29 of the 55 were female. ln addition, since the first case happened in Cambodia in 2005 there were 19 cases survived.

This is the 6th case this year and the 53rd person to become infected with the H5Nl virus in Cambodia. The case is from Phnom Penh City. Of the 53 confirmed cases, 41 were children under 1 4, and 29 of the 53 were female. In addition, since the first case happened in Cambodia in 2005 there were only 18 cases survived.

These are the 4th and 5th cases this year and the 51st and 52nd persons to become infected with the H5Nl virus in Cambodia. The cases are from Kampong Cham (newly named Tboung Khmun) province. Of the 52 confirmed cases, 40 were children under 14, and 29 of the 52 were female. In addition, since the first case happened in Cambodia in 2005 there were 18 cases survived.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) of the Kingdom of Cambodia wishes to advise members of the public that one new human case of avian influenza has been conformed for the H5Nl virus. This is the 3rd case this year and the 50th person to become infected with the H5Nl virus in Cambodia. The case is from Kratie province. Of the 50 confirmed cases, 38 were children under 14, and 27 of the 50 were female. In addition, since the first case happened in Cambodia in 2005 there were only 16 cases survived.
